Teva Pharmaceuticals International GmbH (“TPIG”) is a subsidiary of Teva Europe based in Switzerland. The company trades mainly Global Specialty medicines & Branded Generics Products with many markets in EU and the US. The company is also hosting the trading hub for our Latin American markets. TPIG is engaged in manufacturing and sales activities which are coordinated out from it headquarter in Jona. The TPIG Supply Chain owns the end-to-end supply chain of Speciality and Biologics products of Teva and leads the Supply chain activities for Project management & execution, Strategic & tactical planning as well as Supply chain operational hub which includes operational planning and execution. To execute the strategic direction of growing Teva’s speciality portfolio, we are seeking the below role to join our team.

Teva Pharmaceuticals International GmbH is looking for a Director TPIG Supply Chain Planning & Execution.

Job purpose

• Lead the TPIG planning team- ensure highly performing and engaged team, ensure collaboration within the team and externally and that Teva values are followed
• Ensure business continuity and uninterrupted, efficient supply for full TPIG product portfolio
• Lead Supply Chain planning team, responsible for global demand and supply alignment, in order to ensure End-to-End supply from manufacturer to final customers.
• Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliant supply through product life cycle
• Collaborates with senior management to develop and implement TPIG Supply Chain strategy
• To drive Supply Chain Compliance, ensuring team-wide consistency in processes and terminology, documenting standard operating procedures, integrating into processes and on-going training
• Ensure effective management of inventory and Good Receipt to optimize FCF and mitigate W/O risks
  
  

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure End-to-End Global demand and supply planning, accountable and responsible for supply plan (0-24 months) and long-range planning for all product stages based on portfolio
• Ensure that product life cycle management is maintained and aligned with Teva strategy
• Lead planning team which includes Supply Chain management and execution . Ensure teams are equipped to manage full TPIG product portfolio
• Lead and ensure all processes and systems follow TPIG compliance guidance
• Identify and drive business using continuous improvement methodology.
• Collaborate with all internal and external stakeholders
• The role deals with high levels of complexity and must be able to develop contingency plans to mitigate risk and guarantee supply.
• Ensure all activities are executed according to compliance and EU GDP guidelines, local TPIG SOPs.
• Ensure and drive standardization in accordance with overall operating model Teva Global Supply Chain.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in either Industrial engineering, a science-related field or similar degree with applicable experience
• An additional professional qualification (e.g. APICS, PMI) is of advantage
• 10+ years of professional experience in leading operations within global supply chain, logistics or procurement processes in the Pharmaceutical/ Medical devices industry
• Experience in establishing cross-functional processes in a global environment
• Experience with project management and program management; pharmaceutical program management or in Biologics will be an advantage
• Proven leadership capabilities and team player with strategic thinking, strong interpersonal skills including cross-functional teamwork, excellence in execution, written and verbal communication skills, strong negotiation skills, good analytical skills, high energy level, good coach and developer of people
• Sensitivity to the cultural diversity of a global organization
• Effective Conflict management skills and diplomacy to effectively resolve differences and conflicts within the organization
• Ability to complete a robust supply chain analysis and effectively summarize and present conclusions
• ERP System experience with preferred candidate has extensive knowledge in planning and logistic processes in SAP
• Ability to identify discrepancies between manufacturing current and future capacities and forecast demand and implement process and strategies to mitigate the risks
• Ability to identify risks and benefits for assigned projects and to identify opportunities. / think and act strategically
• Solution oriented and problem solving attitude rounds up your profile
• An experienced people manager in both direct and cross functional leadership
• Excellent planning and organization skills
