We are seeking
Octapharma AG is looking for a motivated and experienced person, who can manage and develop our Corporate Business Applications’ area. This position will be in our headquarters in Lachen and reports to the Vice President, Corporate IT in an organization with a flat hierarchy and fast decision-making processes.

You will have an excellent, challenging, and exciting opportunity to prepare the organization for the future and to build up teams around digital initiatives, process management and integration - all with focus on a first-class user experience. In this role, you lead the business applications team and manage the portfolio of existing and future business systems and processes and act as a centre of excellence for digital transformation in the application landscape. This includes setting the vision, developing roadmaps, chartering, and leading projects in close collaboration with business partners on local and global level.

Your main responsibilities and opportunities

• Define and implement the future application management strategy
• Coordinate roadmaps and projects within business applications
• Manage a portfolio of IT and Business sponsored projects and ensure portfolio health
• Develop and document the actual and future application architecture
• Drive business process and system harmonization across the group
• Supervise and coach the Business Applications teams reporting into the role
• Develop the local Business Applications teams and define optimal organization structure in order to drive system harmonization across the Octapharma Group and serve our business partners
• Manage the relationship to key stakeholders within business. Guide and drive process. Identify digital initiatives in relation to products and markets
• Identify digital initiatives and drive process improvements

Your Profile

• University degree / MBA level – relevant areas could be business organization, logistics, process management or economics
• 7-10 years experience in IT Leadership - alternatively management consulting and a solid track record of management of international teams
• Strong SAP knowledge on process level – eventually as head of a SAP Competence Center
• Strong experience with manufacturing, preferably from a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceutical industry
• Proven project management experience
• As a person, you demonstrate a high level of commitment, professionalism, and integrity. Your strong communication skills are needed to build and maintain strong relations at all levels (Business, IT, and all hierarchical levels), influence and advice at right level
• Drive for excellence with a “can-do” attitude - structured approach
• Strong communication skills on various levels (Business, IT, and all hierarchical levels)
• Fluent in English. German will be an advantage
• Willingness to travel approx. 30%
