JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Head of HR, the HR Coordinator is the first point of contact for HR related matters for all HQ employees. He/she assists employees and the HR Team on the day-to-day operations. The HR Coordinator is also in charge of organizing the onboarding of new employees, ensuring the best experience possible when joining MSC Cruises.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

•Conducting initial orientation to newly hired employees;

•Entry point for all HQ employees for HR administration topics;

•Assisting with day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties (administration, time management, certificates, onboarding, contracts, etc.);

•Providing advice regarding human resources issues, rules and regulations to employees for their whole lifecycle in the company;

•Compiling and updating employee records, updating databases internally, monitoring absences, providing report ad hoc, etc.;

•Processing documentation and preparing reports relating to personnel activities;

•Collaborating with the Swiss unemployment office (OCE) for recruitment purposes;

•Overseeing employee’s life cycle, ensuring compliance with local legal requirements;

•Seeking for efficiencies in HR Processes and proposing adequate solutions;

•Participating to ad hoc HR Projects;

•Recruiting interns/entry level positions and maintaining relationship with schools.


QUALIFICATIONS

•Fluent in English and French;

•Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent;

•2+ years’ experience in a similar role in a multinational and multicultural environment;

•Knowledge of Swiss Labour Law is an advantage;

•Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package;

•The successful candidate must be very flexible and ready to work in a fast-moving environment.


VISA REQUIREMENTS

Right to work in Switzerland.
