Our long-term client, a renowned pharmaceutical company, is looking for a Head of HR 100% starting immediately or by agreement. The workplace in the Basel area is easily accessible by car or public transport. This position requires a trustworthy, proactive person with a modern mindset. A responsible field of activity in an international environment is waiting for you.
Tasks and responsibility

  • In this position you will take responsibility for several business areas of the company
  • You will lead a team of several dozen employees and support the supervisors in all aspects of HR management
  • In addition, you will be involved in recruiting, employer branding, compensation & benefits, and various other strategic issues
  • In the course of these tasks, you will be in regular contact with the various stakeholders and act as a sparring partner
  • The optimization and implementation of the HR strategy is also one of your main responsibilities and you thus contribute to the growth of the company
  • In your function, you will also be responsible for advising and supporting managers as well as their further development
Requirements

  • Further training in HR management or obtained a comparable higher degree
  • Several years of experience in a management function in HR, preferably in the chemical industry
  • Knowledge in talent management, talent acquisition and project management
  • Fluent in written and spoken German and English, Swiss German is also desirable, any other foreign language is a plus
  • As a hands-on personality with a strong sense of service, you contribute to a trusting working atmosphere in the company
  • Strategic and economic thinking are just as important to you as teamwork and employee motivation
