Swiss based Dufour Aerospace is developing an eVTOL platform based on tilt-wing technology to make future manned and unmanned electric and hybrid electric aircraft a reality. Dufour’s prototypes have already flown many hundreds of flights – both manned and unmanned. The combination of VTOL operation, aircraft design and software development expertise puts Dufour Aerospace at the forefront of Advanced Air Mobility.

About the role

We are seeking a passionate team member with a Mechatronik background. In this multidisciplinary role, you will help our team building test rigs, perform independent tests in the area of electric propulsion, battery and control and avionic systems. Furthermore you will be integrated in flight testing and maintaining our prototypes. In our dynamic startup environment you will need to be adaptable, and there is a great deal of room for growth. Working location is Visp/Raron/Steg VS.

Responsibilities
  • Building and operating test installations.
  • Performing battery, motor, propeller and avionics tests.
  • Assisting in flight test campaigns.
  • Support of our maintenance team.
  • Power and control electrical systems management.
  • Documentation of test and maintenance processes.
Required
  • Completed Mechatroniker/Elektroniker apprenticeship.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Not afraid to challenge assumptions and provide feedback.
Desired
  • Hands on electronics experience.
  • Hands on mechanic experience.
  • Passion for flight, whether in the pilot seat or with R/C models.
