Job Description

Postgraduate Biologics & Cell and Gene Therapies

Take the opportunity to gain insight into the operation of Technical Research and Development (TRD) by exploring our global functions of Drug Product Development, Drug Substance Development, Cell & Gene Therapies (CGT) and Analytical Development. The Biologics & CGT Early Talent Program consists of three to four rotations between various functions over the course of 24 months (minimum is 6 months per function).

To get the full experience, you will be integrated in a team in each function and work together with them on current projects.

Within each laboratory, you will be exposed to different techniques and methods.

Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Acquire an understanding of the organization and how the different units in TRD work together to develop solutions that address unmet needs for patients
  • Document and present results related to defined project activities according to the different unit requirements (GxP / non- GxP)
  • Collaborate with internal and external development partners and stakeholders
Minimum Requirements

Recent Master graduate from Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or any other engineering discipline with following skills:
  • Easily adaptable to new working environments, independent working style & fast learner
  • Laboratory experience including autonomous handling of projects
  • Scientific knowledge of mammalian cell culture
  • Basic understanding of pharmaceutical development processes
  • Knowledge of one or several of the following is advantageous:
Protein production & analytical methods (e.g. HDPB, RPC, SEC, particle analysis)

Bioanalytical methods (e.g. ELISA, cell-based assays, etc.)

Molecular biology (e.g. cloning methods, PCR, viral vector, CRISPR, etc.)

Experience in working in GMP environment is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong presentation and scientific/technical writing skills
  • Proficient in English
