QA Tester / Testing coordinator

APM is looking to recruit a QA Tester / Testing coordinator to complete our quality management team

The job is full time, on-site and located at Geneva, Switzerland

Missions

Testing

• Perform manual acceptance testing on bug tickets.
• Record and maintain regression test scripts by using SmartBear TestComplete tool on both new developments and bug fixes.
• Create incident and bug tickets in APM ticketing tool (Jira) following company procedures.
• Follow-up on created ticket advancements to give regular feedback to management team.
• Participate to a frequent “Quality Committee” meeting with other testers.

Quality Coordination

• Prepare next testing script by allocating testing tasks (Manual testing/UI automated testing/API automated testing) to other members of the QA team.
• To collect progresses done by each member of the QA team and prepare a reporting for the QA meeting done every 2 weeks.

Documentation Management

• Update of APM software user guides.
• Management of internal Knowledge Base to improve support team efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Deep knowledge of software testing process. Experience on SmartBear TestComplete tool would be an advantage.
• Excellent Communication skills in writing and speaking, both English and French.
• General skills in IT environments.
• Good knowledge on aviation is an advantage.
• Soft Skills: o Precision; try to find ‘hidden’ bugs on new features by work around all actions possible in the software. Team Spirit; assist the testing team but also the helpdesk team if necessary. Good abilities to navigate in software and mobile applications; logical mindset.
• Swiss or Schengen area citizen, or Swiss residence permit holder.

Conditions

• Start date: As soon as possible
• Salary: 60 000 – 75 000 CHF depending on the experience
• Workload: 42 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
• Home-office: No
• Travel: No

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Salary: CHF60,000.00 - CHF75,000.00 per year
