About our client:

For our client, one of the leading insurance companies in Switzerland with headquarter in Zurich, Swisslinx is looking for a highly experienced Senior Java FullStack Developer to implement business functionality in a multi-year finance transformation project as Spring Boot microservices running in a cloud-native environment in MS Azure on an initial contract until the end of 2023 with a high chance of getting extended/internalized thereafter.

Your responsibilities:

  • Performing data integration using micro-service and Azure Datafactory pipelines
  • Developing user interfaces using Angular
  • Ensuring applications are performing and tested against requirements
  • Ensuring compliance with CI/CD and automated testing
  • Preparing unit test for automated testing
  • Performing code reviews
  • Fixing bugs and issues in deployed applications
  • Demonstrating expert understanding of the Java application development stack and tools
  • Understanding of architectural issues including recommendations

Your background:

  • Strong experience in JAVA development
  • Knowledge of reactive architecture and micro-services – Spring Boot
  • Experience with UI development using Angular
  • Know-how in configuring Azure Data factory pipelines
  • Experience with relational databases
  • Test driven development expertise in writing unit tests and end to end integration tests
  • Experience to work in a scrum team
  • Understanding with messaging and stream processing architectures built on Kafka as well as of Native Cloud development, Azure and Kubernetes would be a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD for integration and deployment would be an asset
  • Good communication skills in English, German is a plus
