The Scenic Group is a leading luxury global travel company with offices around the world andhas grown over its 36-year history to include all-inclusive escorted tours; two award-winning river cruise lines – Scenic and Emerald Cruises; and in 2019, the World’s First Discovery Yacht – Scenic Eclipse.We are currently looking for an independent and team-oriented personality for the position asAccountant (m/f) 100%Responsibilities
  • Accounts payable (incl. overhead T&E)
  • Accounts receivable
  • Intercompany invoicing and reconciliation tasks
  • Cost controlling and margin analysis
  • Accruals and month end closing works
  • VAT declarations for various countries
  • Ad-hoc inquiries and projects
Experience And Qualifications
  • A completed degree in accounting and/or commercial degree
  • At least 3 years of experience in accounting positions
  • Experienced working in a similar role, preferably in a multinational environment
  • Used to work in global teams
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs
  • Experience in SAGE300 and/or Oracle NetSuite is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German (other languages are a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willing to take ownership, hands-on, persistent, meet deadlines, team-oriented personality
