WinGD is looking for a

Application Engineer - Electrification

Responsibilities

• Creation of control related documents, such as system layouts, wiring diagrams and I/O signal lists
• Development, design and specification of architectures for integrated battery-hybrid energy systems
• Design of electrical systems, such as system control units, electric motor starters, etc..
• Definition of guidelines for engineering and configuration of highly customized electric and hybrid solutions
• Technical coordination with external engineering and manufacturing partners
• Design review of energy system electrification concepts

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience designing LV (up to 1KV) power generation, conversion, and distribution systems
• Experience with electrical CAD tools is a must
• Experience in either marine, railway, energy sector or similar
• Knowledge in / or keen to learn relevant regulations and requirements from classification societies and similar
• Knowledge in hybrid systems and their components (electric drives and generators, batteries, converters, DC and AC power distribution systems)
• Basic project management skills
• Team player, yet able to work independently
• Enjoying working in multicultural environment
• Fluent in English, German is not mandatory
