We are currently looking for an Automation Specialist (f/m/d) at our site in Visp to bring Lonza to the next level of 21st century in automation and robotics in the pharmaceutical industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Challenging existing manual practices and watching out for the best automation and robotics within the pharma industry as well as other industries to improve current practices
  • Supporting strategic business decisions by contributing broad knowledge of automation software, RPAs, VR, AI, AR, and similar technologies
  • Driving the standardization and the efficiency in Quality Control (QC)
  • Supporting the digital transformation of quality processes
Key Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in a scientific field
  • First experience of implemented automation and robotics projects in the GMP regulated environment
  • Experience in communicating with interfaces of different systems (LIMS, iLab, SAP)
  • First experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), use of bots and artificial intelligence
  • Fluent business language skills in English and German
