Your mission:

To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team,we are looking for an Azure Cloud Administrator who will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and management of our organization’s cloud infrastructure on the Microsoft Azure platform. We’re searching for someone whose primary focus will be on ensuring the availability, security, and scalability of our cloud resources, enabling the seamless operation of our digital services. As an Azure Cloud Administrator, you will also collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess business requirements, design cloud solutions, automate deployment processes, and troubleshoot issues, contributing to the overall success of our cloud initiatives. Therefore, we are seeking a highly motivated candidate with expertise in Azure technologies, who will be at the forefront of driving innovation and efficiency within our organization’s digital transformation journey. Your responsibilities:

As a Cloud/Azure Administrator, you will be responsible for

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining Azure-based resources such as virtual machines, storage, networking components, and services to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and availability.

Security and Compliance:

• Implementing robust security practices by configuring access controls, encryption mechanisms, and monitoring tools to safeguard data and meet compliance requirements.

Automation and Orchestration:

• Developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates using tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates or Terraform, enabling consistent and repeatable deployment processes.

Performance Optimization:

• Monitoring and analyzing the performance of Azure resources, identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and implementing optimizations to enhance system performance.

Troubleshooting and Support:

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to Azure services, collaborating with other IT teams to provide timely and effective solutions.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity:

• Designing and implementing backup, disaster recovery, and failover strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime in the event of system failures.

Collaboration:

• Working closely with development, operations, and security teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.

Your profile and skills:

The ideal candidate for this position has the following qualifications and characteristics:

• You are proficient in a wide range of Azure services such as Application gateway, Azure Sentinel, Azure Service Bus, Azure Logic Apps and Azure Synapse;
• You are familiar with Cloud platforms and container technologies like Infrastructure as Code (IaC), Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible / Terraform, or similar technologies;
• You have stronginterest and understanding of technical topics such as Azure security features, as well as identityand access management, encryption, and complianceframeworks;
• You are able to to utilize Azure monitoring and diagnostic tools to identify and resolve performance issues and outages;
• You have deep knowledge in the field ofscripting languageslike PowerShell, Python, or Bash;
• You have excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• You are team player and you have good analytical skills and drove initiatives in dynamic work environments
• You speak English and French fluently;

• You have aSwiss Residency.
