BI Solution Specialist

Would you lead the creation, design, and build of a business intelligence architecture?

The business Intelligence that we image is aimed at delivering key insights in an effective, automated and reliable way.

You will be responsible for the re-evaluation, architecture and development of the future BI Solution, supporting the company’s strategic objective to have an overarching BI-approach and solution.

The role will also include the maintenance of current running solutions in close collaboration with the business stakeholders and solution suppliers.

You will shape the future in collaboration with a range of stakeholders across the company (including EC and senior management) to ensure business requirements are fully understood and the data is presented in a simple and engaging way.

Your innovative approach will maintain and enforce the standards for Business Intelligence (BI) solution design as well as analyze and challenge the requirements to produce meaningful insights.

The role can be located in Thalwil, CH or in Sgonico, Italy.

Your Responsibilities

• Accountable for the definition of the global BI tool and architecture as well as the overall BI-Strategy in alignment with the Business- and the IT-strategy.
• Maintenance and support of current running BI-solutions, with focus on stabilization of the change process.
• Work closely with all business areas to capture BI (Business Intelligence) requirements based on business objectives, initiatives, challenges and questions
• Provide advice on technical aspects of BI development and integration, including the operational and maintenance aspects of systems under development, and proposed system recovery procedures.
• Define and/or recreate existing ETL (Extract-Transform-Load)-processes and provide ongoing support and implementation of change for the ETL solution interface between applicatio
• Your passion for data management and data modelling will run through your mind to develop conceptual, logical and physical data models

Your Skills and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronic engineering or equivalent education (STEM discipline)
• Advanced experience of Business Intelligence solution architecture, design and implementation approaches
• Experience in ETL solutions and preferably Datawarehousing
• Track-record and strong understanding of KPI / Metric principles
• Highly analytical and strong critical thinker
• Ability to communicate and present clear thinking on all levels
• Self-driving and motivated team-player with the ability to take lead on design activities
• Strong listening, organization, and networking abilities
• General experience with PowerBI

• Experience with current ERP-Solutions Abacus, Salesforce, D365 BC
• Previous experience in semiconductor industry
