To reinforce the Synechron Switzerland team, we are looking for aCalypso Technical Analyst, with expertise in Security Finance & Collateral Management. Our mission is for one of our clients, a financial institution in Zurich.

Responsibilities:

• Working with Agile development teams;
• Participatingin project to develop custom functionalities of the Calypso application;
• Liaising with teams across various geographic locations;
• Engaging with Business and Operations users to address their queries;
• Working with production and leadership team to understand project landscape;
• Preparing future upgrades of platform and features.

Your profile and skills:

• You possess a minimum 5 to 10 years of in-depth experience as a Calypso Developer;
• You are experienced with Calypso 16, 17, 18 versions, and willing to participate in future upgrades;
• You show good understanding of overall Calypso Architecture and Calypso APIs;
• You have good understanding of Collateral Module (Products, processes);
• You possessstrong Java skills;
• You show hands-on experience in Calypso development and customizations, e.g. scheduled tasks, reports, engine, message and sender frameworks;
• You have the ability to write SQL queries and understand Calypso database tables;
• You have a deep understanding of Collateral Structured Products and FX trade Understanding of UNIX servers and commands;
• You show understanding of back-office processes like SWIFT, Settlements, TPA, CREs, Accounting;
• You have good and effective communication skills in fast-paced settings;
• You have good analytical skills, should be able to analyze and resolve production issues;
• You are familiar with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, and Confluence;
• You are aFluent English-speaker, working knowledge of Spanish and/or German nice to have
• You possess a valid work permit for Switzerland, or you are EU national and willing to relocate to Zurich.
• You are based in Zurich on-site (hybrid), with quarterly travel to Madrid (1 week/quarter).
