Our client is a leading engineering and construction development company in the fields of heavy civil infrastructure and energy projects.


We are looking to recruit Commercial Director (m/f) to start as soon as possible or upon agreement. Ideal candidate must be experienced in construction projects costing, construction bidding processes and have understand of construction financing.

Your profile:


  • University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering OR Business Administration
  • 10+ years of work experience in similar position (preferably construction side, transport, renewables or water projects…). A must is experience from construction of infrastructure (heavy civil construction projects)
  • Experienced with Tender Procedures and Processes.
  • Excellent project management skills
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication skills

Your responsibilities:


  • Managing the Project Delivery and Commercial teams
  • Supporting Business Development team in devising strategies for new projects and markets
  • Contributing to tender preparation, managing cost estimation, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and partners
  • Leading and supporting contracts preparation and management through all phases of the infrastructure assets’ lifecycle
  • Supporting and managing project finance processes for the issuance of bonds and letters of guarantees
  • Working with external sub-consultants and sub-contractors
  • Maintaining and improving financial controls regarding invoicing/ revenue recognition and cash collection by project delivery teams
