Qualifications

• University degree and very good academic record
• 3+ years of experience in Media and Communications and Marketing related field
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively
• Ability to manage multiple people as well as projects simultaneously
• Exceptional client service focus and outstanding judgment
• Ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and in writing - in German as well as in English. French is a plus
  
  

What You’ll Do

You will lead the internal and external communications for the Swiss offices in Zurich and Geneva, and act as a trusted advisor for the office leadership and serve as the main person responsible for media relations.

In this role, you will define strategic communications objectives and, together with the leadership team develop and execute reputation-building programs through a mix of publishing activities, classic media and public relations, digital and social media, as well as managing events, speeches, institutional partnerships and targeted placement of papers and publications.

You will also assist the leadership team in developing networking programs to strengthen relationships with clients and media and coach them on personal branding and positioning.

You will manage relationships with external partner organizations and communication advisors, and work with the leadership team to strengthen relationships with these audiences.

Based on a regular assessment of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats you will develop strategies to manage issues and strengthen the company’s reputation.

Who You’ll Work With

You’ll work in our Zurich office and lead a team of two to three colleagues.

You will report to the Director of Communications Europe and work closely with other communications colleagues in Europe. Our communications team focuses on communication strategy, internal communication, media engagement, as well as reputation management.
