The Compliance COO team provide transversal support to the Compliance unit and in particular:
  • Ensure Compliance has the right resources to operate effectively, in terms of budget, systems, processes, information, governance (“Run the Bank”)
  • Define and execute the Compliance transformation agenda (“Change the Bank”)
We are a small and dynamic team, involved in numerous activities and projects both within Compliance and across the Lombard Odier Group.
YOUR MISSION:
Your primary responsibility will be to provide analytical support to the Compliance Management team in respect to its ongoing reporting and management information requirements as well as ad-hoc requests requiring both quantitative and qualitative analysis in support of business and regulatory projects.
You will be main point of contact for all data related requests impacting the Compliance function, by:
  • Designing and analyzing datasets of client and transaction data to derive business and risk insights and thus contribute to decision-making
  • Establishing, documenting and maintaining dynamic and automated reporting solutions for all Compliance needs
  • Providing analytical support to internal investigations and regulatory inquiries.
  • Collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to ensure data integrity and security in all our processes and systems and implement the relevant controls
In addition to the above, you will also play an important role in ensuring the stability and integrity of the Compliance IT platform and its continued evolution to respond to business and regulatory needs, by:
  • Designing and executing Compliance business and regulatory projects, by performing business analysis, coordinating and tracking actions of different stakeholders, consolidating input and research into actionable objectives, and communicating progress to stakeholders.
  • Analyzing Compliance processes, gathering data to identify trends and patterns, recommending improvements and keeping up-to-date process maps
  • Supporting the Compliance business application owner with the maintenance and continuous evolution of key compliance applications (name screening, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, fraud monitoring, client risk scoring, market abuse), including parameterization of risk thresholds; documentation of functional specifications; design and testing of key changes.
DESIRED PROFILE:
  • University degree in Finance, Business Management, Engineering or related fields, or evidence of comparable academic / work achievement;
  • 5/7 years of experience in Financial Services and/or Consulting with a strong focus on data and business analysis; prior experience of Compliance and Private Banking will be a strong asset.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in data management and analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI or other equivalent data visualization software;
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic business environment, and a willingness to learn and evolve within the team;
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills, and the ability to foster productive relationships and build consensus with a diverse set of stakeholders at all levels of seniority and technical knowledge;
  • Fluent in English and French;
  • Resident in Switzerland.
