In this challenging and dynamic position, you will play a key oversight and leadership role in supporting our digital transformation and leveraging of new technologies to strengthen our Ethics and Compliance program and meet regulatory expectations. You will work closely with all members of the Global Ethics & Compliance group to ensure coordination and focus of efforts.

Based in Switzerland, the role will report directly to Galderma’s Global Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABAC) and Third-Party Compliance Lead.



Responsibilities:

Serve as a key driver for ensuring that requisite compliance management systems and transparency tools are in place and fit for purpose to meet the needs of all stakeholders.

Galderma’s compliance systems include our transparency reporting tool and our compliance management system (CMS) currently operating with three modules ((1) Approval workflows for engagement and meetings; grants, donation and sponsorship; conflict of interests; (2) Third party Due-Diligence and (3) Continuous monitoring).

  • Play a lead role in managing the deployment, annual improvement, and future enhancements of key tools and systems
  • Serve as the point contact for the management and enhancement of Galderma’s compliance systems to fulfil evolving business needs
  • Keep up to date with compliance requirements and regulations to feed into future enhancements of the existing compliance tools
  • Drive data analytics improvement initiatives to enhance Galderma’s compliance program and manage risk
  • Make use of available data analytics and enable data driven approval decisions
  • Reflect Galderma’s risk appetite in our continuous monitoring’s risk engine and communicate risk insights and remediation with Senior Stakeholders across the organization
  • Maintain oversight on Third Party Due Diligence processes and monitor approval and mitigation actions across all engagements
  • Co-ordinate the preparation of annual transparency reports to be made available to the public and or regulators
  • Act as master data admin to manage process, access to tools and interfaces with other systems outside of Compliance
  • Coordinate transition and migration of data in various systems
  • Act as systems expert, ensuring the organization is properly and effectively trained on the usage of all Compliance tools

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 3+ years of compliance experience in (or on behalf of) a life sciences company with knowledge and understanding of healthcare compliance and applicable legal and regulatory frameworks
  • 1+ years gained in (or on behalf of) a life sciences company working on global HCP transparency matters, including a demonstrable understanding of disclosure obligations in key pharmaceutical markets
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and databases with an interest in risk management and new technologies for compliance
  • Demonstrated experience working in a global or regional environment
  • Ability to work in partnership with business colleagues to implement effective compliance programs alongside business objectives
  • Analytical mindset, solution-oriented thinking, proactive, flexible and with a hands-on mentality
  • Strong Project Management skills with excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all organizational levels and contributing to a team
  • Cultural sensitivity, self-motivated and used to working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
