Helen of Troy (NASDAQ: HELE) is a global designer, developer, and worldwide marketer of of well recognized and widely trusted brands via 3 business segments : Health & Home that include brands such as Braun ®, Vicks®, or Honeywell®; Houseware with the OXO ® family of brands, Hydro Flask ® or Osprey ®; and Beauty with Hot Tools ® or Revlon® for example.

About The Role

Provide support in relation with EMEA Budget preparation and periodic re-forecasts, covering Health and Home, Beauty and Housewares Segments, with a specific focus on COGS management and ensuring accurate forecast of margins across all Brands and Product Lines.

What you’ll do in the role

Budget & Re-forecasts

• Prepare COGS data for transfer into Hyperion
• Perform checks according to set procedure and implement necessary corrections where necessary
• Maintain COGS variation matrix
• Coordinate with Corp Finance in the US to ensure FX rates are properly updated
• Obtain price increase assumptions from Supply Chain, or APO to be incorporated in forecasts
• Support the team loading data into Hyperion during Budget and re-forecasts
• Cost Accounting

GRID Reports

• Run GRID report monthly
• In cooperation with DP, identify inconsistent inventory reserve calculations and correct % before sending to Accounting for Oracle update

Overhead Maintenance

• In cooperation with Supply Chain, Review Duty, Freight data in Material Master at SKU level.
• Coordinate % updates with Supply Chain and Corporate Cost accounting

Material Cost

• Monitor material cost price changes in cooperation with Supply Chain, Review Duty, Freight data in Material Master at SKU level

General Support

• Tracking of customer specific requirements in coordination with supply chain
• Analyze Product Margins evolution, by developing tools and provide visibility to the organization through Dashboards
• Maintain job aid procedures
• Ad Hoc analysis or projects

Sales Controller Support

• Track Key customer profitability
• Preparation of sales dilutions forecast
• Reporting update and analysis

What will help you do the job well

• 3-4 years’ experience in a similar position preferably in an international company.
• Expert in managing large volumes of data
• MS Office proficiency (advanced xls knowledge, macros)
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), any other European Language an asset
• Business Intelligence system would be an asset
• Experience/expertise with Tableau software would be an asset
