Job Description

Reporting directly to the VP of Digital Marketing, this role’s mission is to maximize the potential of CRM and E-mail communications for Skechers, across all Company-owned Skechers.com platforms in Europe, to drive consumer acquisition, engagement, e-commerce/omnichannel purchases, and loyalty.

You will be responsible for supporting the ongoing transition from e-mail blasts to personalized journeys and targeted communications, leveraging Salesforce Marketing Cloud automation, Einstein AI, and CRM data.

This role will leverage customer data to personalize communications and offers, increase engagement, loyalty, and lifetime value.

The CRM & E-MAIL marketing manager, in partnership with country marketing teams, will manage all customer communications in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including both newsletters and automated email journeys across the client lifecycle, from welcome/onboarding programs up to post-purchase and loyalty.

This role works also closely with the Global Business Insights (GBI) team of data engineers and data scientists, to get the best insights from the CRM and Loyalty database, as well as the global Digital Innovation Group (DIG) team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud architects and developers, to set-up automation and new features, and the International Marketing Team/Graphics to secure content.

Essential Job Results
  • Based on the content calendar and templates, defined in partnership with global marketing, creative services, DIG, and country teams, makes sures that all newsletter campaigns are correctly set-up and send-out in ESP (Salesforce Marketing Cloud), either assisting country marketing teams or setting them up from scratch, depending on capabilities of each country.
  • In close partnership with DIG team, oversees implementation of automated journeys, looking for constant optimization and new opportunities, making sure all journeys are correctly set-up and working as expected. Assists with updates/maintenance or creating new specific adhoc journeys.
  • Analyzes performance to continuously seek opportunities to improve KPIs, drive personalization, and elevate the customer experience
  • Implements improvements or briefs relevant teams from DIG and/or Creative Services.
  • Analysis of audience data to find most relevant consumer segments to personalize both e-mail marketing communications and increase digital media ROI, in close partnership with country teams, media agencies, and GBI group.
  • Automation Studio Activities: write SQL queries to segment the customer database and create customized data extensions
  • AMPscript creation: writes AMPscript code to personalize email content and fully leverage on Einstein Email Recommendations
  • Contact Builder: manages and controls the data model on Marketing Cloud
  • Monitors deliverability of campaigns and bounces and flags any issues with templates and send outs respectively
  • Owns, manages and sets up relevant audiences in our CRM and ESP, connected to each email campaign or additional relevant channels
  • Further defines relevant audiences to set up A/B tests or MVT of campaigns according to Test & Learn Roadmap, and contributes into shaping further tests
  • Owns quality assessment and final approval of audience segmentation for the company’s highest impact campaigns on revenue and brand engagement
Qualifications

We are looking for a digital marketing professional with tangible experience gained preferably within the sportswear, fashion, or apparel industries, working within a company or agency, with strong track record of results.

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications a plus, or demonstrated equivalent experience
  • Any other digital marketing certification a plus
  • Fluent in English with solid writing and oral skills (German, French, Italian a plus)
Technical Skills
  • At least 2-3 years’ hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Experience in managing and optimizing e-mail marketing campaigns and leveraging CRM data
  • Experience with CSS and HTML for email creation
  • Ability to create and edit AMPscript
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Consulting experience a plus
