On behalf of our client, a well-established family office, Swisslinx is currently looking for an experienced Data Manager. This unlimited permanent role with our client is based in Lucerne.

The Role

The Data Manager works closely with various teams across the business and combines business knowledge from the investment area with IT expertise. You are supporting the business with meaningful reporting solutions, on-demand data analysis and critical briefs. Additionally, you proactively shape, optimize and automate the reporting processes using your in-depth knowledge about Business Intelligence and Data Analysis.

Data Analysis
  • Hands-on creation and optimization of Reports, Dashboards, Visualizations
  • Take over Data Modelling and create complex Data Analyses
  • Be responsible for Data Cleansing activities in relation to investment reporting activities
  • Manage and correct data inputs in relation to investment reporting
  • Be responsible for data governance
Automating The Reporting Process
  • Actively support and drive the automation and standardization of the reporting and business analytics area
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts from the business and IT side
  • Identify business requirements regarding reports and dashboards
  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements
  • Support IT in the development and maintenance of a data warehousing system
  • Support the documentation of process flows
Your Profile
  • Ideally you bring a university / FH degree in Finance, Mathematics, Business Informatics (BI) or related
  • Alternatively, you bring relevant certificates such as CFA or CPA
  • Several years of experience in data analytics, ideally within investment analysis
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in data analysis, data modelling and reporting
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL queries
  • Solid know-how in Business Intelligence, ideally in depth knowledge of Power BI
  • Experience in data architecture and management, ideally with experience in data security
  • Knowledge in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
  • Ideally experience in developing and deploying API integration solutions and data integrations
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Stakeholders with various backgrounds
