You are an experienced IT Project Manager. Able to lead and carry out the delivery of IT projects for our business functions. We offer an exciting job in an international company with great development possibilities, where your contributions will be valuable and make a difference.
As an IT Project Manager, you will manage a variety of small to medium sized projects. Ensuring that the appropriate resourcing is available for the project execution, whether internal, external or in combination to ensure delivery of the assigned projects. Actively ensuring project planning/budgeting process is followed and assist stakeholders with their own project-related business planning and budgeting on an ongoing basis.
Your day at Ferring:
  • Scope, time, cost management: Manage the scope, timeline, cost and oversee the delivery of various Projects/Programs of varying degrees of complexity, in alignment with IT organization department goals, objectives, strategy and standards. Develops schedules/frameworks to ensure the timely completion of projects within budget and per specification. Supports the business planning/budgeting process for assigned projects and assists stakeholder organizations with their own IT-related project planning and budgeting processes.
  • Resource management: Identifies and determines the resource requirement whether internal, external or a mix, to ensure that the Project / Program is delivered within budget & on time.
  • Risk and stakeholder management: Assesses Project / Program risk and builds the necessary mitigation plans. Whilst, developing strong relationships with senior business managers to understand & align their priorities and to develop an optimal environment for project development and delivery.
  • Communication management: Reports on project / program progress and health to IT Management & Business Sponsors. (Whilst separately advising the IT function on any advances in the project management field that can lead to improving methods for maximizing value delivery to project stakeholders).
  • Quality management: Understand, comply and execute all assigned projects, tasks and activities in full alignment with Ferring company standards including relevant SOPs and relevant GxP Compliance requirements. E.g. Support entities during Health Authority inspections as required.
  • Vendor management: Manages suppliers and external consultants; financial control of time and spending, approves deliverables and validates payments.
  • Integration management: Leads the implementation of interfaces in close collaboration with system analysts and architects, manages data migration, supports trouble shooting and problem solving.
Behind our innovation…There’s you:
  • University degree or equivalent in information systems or similar
  • 5+ years relevant work experience as IT Project Manager
  • 3 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry related work
  • Experience in industry regulations (GxP) is an asset
  • Proven track record of successfully managed projects involving work planning, resource and capacity planning, risk management, scope and issue management with complex IT development projects
  • Proven experience managing projects in at least one of the following areas: Experience with Pharma Specific Compliance e.g. Health Care Professionals /Organization reporting “US Sunshine Act”, Experience with IT Architecture Projects (Interfaces, Server Architecture), Compliance (Indirect Tax, Vendor Due Diligence, Enterprise risk management)
  • Scrum master experience (Agile Methodology) is an asset
  • Relevant work experience in an international environment, including leading teams across multiple locations
  • Excellent communication, conflict management and negotiation skills, able to work with people across different levels of the organization
  • English – fluent in speaking and writing
