Your field of responsibility


This role involves delivery of people strategy and plan within the Digital Transformation and Products Labs team. The scope includes setting of communication and engagement objectives in line with people strategy, driving relevant initiatives and delivering projects towards objectives and overall strategy. Specific deliverables include planning and implementing high quality departmental and team-building events; writing copy for team communication materials; monitoring progress of training and engagement activities using pre-determined metrics and conducting performance analyses.

As part of the People Engagement team, the Communications and Engagement specialist will plan, develop and execute internal communications and initiatives to increase employee engagement and ensure a high performance culture across the organisation.

In this role, you will:

  • Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to establish organizational messages, keeping employees engaged and aware of ongoing organizational changes and recent developments
  • Plan, develop and execute people related initiatives designed to increase engagement, drive improvement and a high performance culture across the bank
  • Ensure that our internal people engagement platform, reflects our culture and continues to be a relevant and useful platform for our employees
  • Ensure organizational initiatives and projects are successfully communicated to employees and stakeholders
  • Plan, edit and create content for a variety of internal communication platforms (e.g. employee intranet, monthly newsletters and email communications)
  • Respond to feedback from staff and adjust communications content accordingly

Your skills and experience


To work with us, you offer the following:

  • A university degree and a minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in a communications or marketing
  • A team-player with proactive orientation and the ability to deliver across multiple work streams at the same time
  • Outstanding track-record and high level of quality in delivery and implementation of people and engagement projects
  • Front to back project management from developing project concept papers (including content curation and framework design) to project implementation and post-project data tracking
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to communicate efficiently at all levels
  • Demonstrated experience planning and supporting strategic communication campaigns
  • Distinctive technical affinity, with good knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills are a requirement, German is a plus Adaptable, result-oriented person with project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to develop people and engagement initiatives
  • A team-player with a strong communication skills, desire to learn and collaborate
  • Ability to cope with pressure and a high level of flexibility, responsibility and attention to detail
  • Diligent work approach with respect for our risk and control obligations
  • Creative mind to conceive compelling marketing ideas and finding solutions to problems
  • Keen interest in communications with a good understanding of best practices
  • Dedicated personality, ability to anticipate needs and / or impacts of actions in advance
  • With your positive attitude, strong work ethics as well as a high level of confidentiality, you are able to develop and maintain successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
