Our colleague Leo (Senior Digital IC Designer ) tells you what your future job could look like:

What are the specific tasks?

I design digital integrated circuits for CMOSens sensor ASICs. Together with the ASIC and product project manager, I first work out a specification for the digital circuits. Then I design a system architecture that matches the specification. Design and verification of the various system components we work out together in the Digital ASIC Team. As soon as the ASIC is available, I support the colleagues from the product groups in the development of sensor applications.

What are the daily challenges?

The most exciting challenge is the development of flexible systems that offer a high reuse value. In doing so, I am always looking, also with the help of my teammates, for creative solutions that can satisfy today’s products as well as those of the future. To do this, it is important for me to understand the various product requirements in detail, to work out commonalities and, if necessary, to harmonize requirements.
