In this role, you will partner closely with senior leadership to create and bring to life an integrated communications strategy that helps advance business priorities and protect and enhance the company’s external reputation. Additionally, you will be responsible for helping craft the Animal Nutrition sustainability story and work across a team of talented communicators around the world to bring it to life.Key Accountabilities
  • Build and execute communications strategies and plans to advance business priorities
  • Provide trusted counsel to senior business partners and stakeholders
  • Ensure Cargill speaks with a consistent voice across businesses and geographies
  • Work in close partnership with Cargill’s Environmental Sustainability team, as well as business teams to bring Cargill’s sustainability strategy to life through communication activations
  • Manage and develop direct reports
  • Align communications plans and execution across regions
  • Lead and support managers in execution of the strategy
  • Prioritize communications to maximize impact and resources
  • Provide issues management for complex, regional and global issues
  • Engage in best practice sharing and benchmarking across the communications team
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Minimum of ten years of related work experience
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong business knowledge with a proven ability to use communications to drive business strategy
  • Comfortable developing strategy and rolling up sleeves to execute
  • Familiarity with animal and aqua nutrition
  • Awareness of food system sustainability
  • Experience working in a global company
  • Previous experience working with or sitting on a business leadership team
  • Three years of supervisory experience
