As the Director, VCM Digital Capabilities, you will work closely with all Segments and Functions to develop and deploy digital capabilities that enable end to end Supply Chain solutions. This is a critical role to advance the J&J Operating Systems (JJOS) Value Chain Management processes. You will combine JJOS processes like Product Value Stream Management, Launch Management and E2E Product Supply with advanced digital tools and capabilities to optimize Supply Chain performance. You will be a catalyst to connect Business owners in Segments with J&J Technology and Digital & Data Science to create transformational business outcomes in areas like agility, resilience, and efficiency. You will also be responsible for building sustainable capabilities in the Segments, through training, coaching and change management.
  • Lead the deployment of E2E Supply Chain solutions using the JJOS methodologies coupled with advanced digital tools such as Digital Twins and Process Mining. This will include scoping and alignment, execution of diagnostic, creation & approval of the implementation plan and delivery of targeted results
  • Ensure linkage between organizational Strategy to Operational Plan
  • Organisational Change and Sr. leader influence to drive sustainable results
  • Build JJOS Capability (coaching & mentoring)
  • Develop new & innovative capabilities improve E2E Supply Chain decision-making, trade-offs and optimization, emphasizing the application of digital tools.
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to identify potential solutions
  • Design and testing of potential solutions
  • Documentation and scaling of successful Use Cases, resulting in integration into JJOS.
  • Develop & implement a roadmap of Digital capabilities for Value Chain Management.
  • Partner with Culture & Capabilities Development on training and skill development for E2E SC Leaders (Value Stream Leaders, Launch Leaders, Business Excellence leaders)
  • Partner with JJOS team to update standard processes including innovative methods to share knowledge with the use community.
  • Partner with technology groups on developing scalable technology roadmaps and supporting business models.

Required

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (or University equivalent)
  • A minimum 10 years of related experience in Supply Chain (Plan, Source, Make, Deliver, NPI) with cross functional experience
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the application of digital tools (modeling, simulation and/or process mining) to the design and/or optimization business processes
  • Experience in managing and/or improving End to End Supply Chain performance
  • Strong understanding of the E2E Supply Chain, relevant product and process knowledge and drivers for E2E Supply Chain Performance
  • Strong understanding of financial, operating, business and customer factors relating to Supply Chain
  • Proven Change Management ability at multiple levels of the Organization
  • Ability to drive a high-performance organization and to develop future supply chain leaders
  • Demonstrated ability to lead & get things done through influence versus line responsibility
  • This position may require up to 10% domestic & international travel

Preferred
  • An MBA or another advanced degree
  • Experience & Certifications in Operational Excellence/Lean/6-Sigma
  • Experience in customer-centered design processes / Design Thinking
