The role

We are recruiting 2 x Discount & Waivers Customer Service Specialists to join our growing Accounting department; you’ll be part of an international finance team with responsibility for managing fee support and providing excellent customer service to our customers. The ideal candidate is motivated, enthusiastic, outgoing and has a passion for helping people.

You need to be a self-starter who takes initiative and can maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with both external customers and internal stakeholders with collaboration at the heart of your work ethic.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee our Fee Support Program including budget and workflow responsibility
  • Provide timely evaluation and high-quality customer service to authors applying for fee support
  • Review and negotiate discount applications
  • Ensure to meet SLA.
  • Assists Process and Documentation in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports
  • Continuously monitoring budget
  • Share learnings and best practices and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Ensuring compliance with internal regulations and support interaction with auditors

About You
  • University degree
  • Finance and/or publishing background is a plus
  • Strong command of English (spoken/written)
  • Customer service orientation (previous customer service experience a plus)
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to produce results
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and reporting
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and international environment
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Team player
