As part of the European eCommerce team and reporting to the Head of DTC eCommerce EMEA, you will be responsible for developing merchandising and promotional strategy for all the DTC brands’ sites. This role will support maximizing business growth, maintaining a strong brand identity and improving customer experience by identifying opportunities through analysing website KPIs and merchandising performance.

Your impact

  • Responsible for conducting in depth analysis of merchandising performance and trends, and providing business recommendations on assortment, pricing, promotional planning and online customer experience
  • Develop promotional and merchandising strategies considering business needs and effectively communicate to cross-functional teams. Additionally, summarize promotions and merchandise performance and key learnings related to the business (i.e. assortment, pricing/discount, profitability)
  • Create marketing and promotional assortments list to support promotional and campaign plans and secure approval from all key stakeholders
  • Review weekly bestsellers reports and business recaps together with the eCom Content Merchandise team to develop actionable merchandising initiatives to improve performance: Increase conversion and average order value through online merchandise management of bestsellers, product promotions, up-sell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Work alongside the eCom Content Merchandise and CRM team to develop merchandising strategy for email marketing and site content calendars aligning with key products pushes, trend focus and promotions
  • Communicate merchandising initiatives to cross-functional teams such as Social Media and Digital Marketing to ensure cross channel alignment and optimal merchandising selection for the campaigns
  • Work closely with the eCom Content Merchandise team with the goal of improving sales, conversion, and customer experience as it relates to site content, taxonomy, on-site search and product sorting
  • Partner with Regional Merchs and eCom Planning teams to optimize assortments: inventory planning and forecast, promotional lists, future product development opportunities and secure monthly contracts to reserve inventory at all times
  • Understand competitive landscape and make recommendations for online merchandising and content improvements

Who You Are

  • Ideally +3 years of work experience in similar role in merchandising management, buying and/or planning with preference in eCommerce / Retail landscape
  • Previous experience working in Fashion preferred
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Google Analytics a plus
  • Strong Excel and SAP skills required
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of projects and tasks with the ability to work quickly and efficiently with an excellent eye for detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organizational, multitasking and time management skills
  • Collaborative and flexible work style
  • Evidence of proactively having taken initiatives to improve business efficiency or performance
  • Business fluent in English, any other European language is an asset
