In operational purchasing, you bear a great deal of responsibility with our client. You are responsible for ensuring the supply of materials in production for the assigned product group.

Our client is a leading international specialist in antiseptic connection technology with high-quality components and customised solutions for the Life Science / Pharma & Biotech sector. They are part of a bigger Group that is a leading global specialist for connection technology in various market segments.

Your tasks

  • The strategic development of our supplier network (identifying new procurement sources, contract negotiations, annual meetings)
  • Operational procurement of the required materials (standard parts and distribution & special parts / services)
  • Obtain supplier quotations, check order confirmations and monitor delivery times.
  • Manage the stock items in the operating system and maintain the data
  • Supporting the project management with stakeholder alignments
  • Creating purchase orders incl. tracking of order confirmations

Your profile


  • Completed a technical apprenticeship with further commercial training
  • Experience in the purchase of technical products and services
  • Advantage if you have several years of experience in the pharmaceutical & biotech industry
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • Very good IT skills ( ERP systems and MS Office)
  • Convincing communication skills, negotiation skills, and strong problem-solving skills
