We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Specialist to join our team dedicated to sustainability.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing and developing our ESG strategies while contributing to well-informed investment decisions.

Job Description

  • ESG Reporting: Liaise with various internal and external stakeholders to develop sustainability reports to provide transparent information to external stakeholders,
  • ESG Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of the ESG performance of companies in our value chain, evaluating their environmental, social, and governance impacts,
  • GHG emissions: Participate to develop methodologies for emissions calculation (including Scope 3 category 15),
  • Sustainable strategy: Contribute to develop sustainability related policies and practices as well as reinforcing related internal control procedures,
  • ESG Integration: Collaborate with portfolio managers to integrate ESG criteria into the investment selection process, ensuring alignment of financial goals with sustainable considerations,
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Dialogue: Establish and maintain relationships with companies to encourage the adoption of more sustainable practices. Participate in stakeholder engagement initiatives to promote ESG best practices,
  • Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about the evolution of ESG regulations and standards, ensuring our investment practices remain in compliance with industry best practices,
  • Training and Awareness: Provide internal training on ESG matters and participate in awareness initiatives to enhance understanding and commitment to our sustainable approach.

Qualifications

  • University degree in finance, management, sustainable development, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in ESG management & reporting, sustainable investing, or a similar role.
  • At ease with the following frameworks: PCAF, PACTA, GRI, GHG protocol, TCFD, ISSB, SBTi, and Swiss Climate Score.
  • Excellent understanding of ESG principles and their application in an investment context.
  • Hand-on attitude as well as advanced analytical skills and ability to work with complex data in a fast-growing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.
