You have an academic background in event management and want to take this space on as a unique and exciting project? You want to start your career in managing events within the digital world and are fascinated by the endless possibilities? Are you happy about every challenge that crosses your path? Tasks
  • Be innovative and creative in generating event ideas for the new space
  • Manage, run and follow up on client events, workshops, public walk-ins etc.
  • Bring a network of contacts to the business
  • Become key point of contact for the office, and the face of the company for all communication regarding the new space
  • Maintain relationships with existing clients and source opportunities for new ones
  • In regular meetings with your team members, you prove your experience and expertise in organisation, office management and are solutions focussed when faced with obstacles
  • Demonstrate leadership within the team to play a central role in community building
  • Take responsibility for facilities management, which includes stock, vendors, office upkeep, client welcome and so on
  • Develop new and innovative social media content to demonstrate the brand and help it grow
Requirements
  • Successfully completed studies or comparable qualification in the field of event management
  • People-driven, innovative and demonstration of a reliable way of working
  • Project management skills and work experience in dealing with events and advertising
  • Analytical and critical thinking combined with good communication skills and ability to take initiative
  • English mother tongue, French or German is a plus
  • A background in sales for an in depth understanding of customer acquisition and relationship building
  • Previous experience in brand representation and development, management and implementation of values and working principles
  • Knowledge of social media channels with previous experience in advertising for different types of events and creative activities
  • International experience is required
  • Experience in office management as facilities manager and secretary/receptionist
