LOCATION

This position is located at our corporate office in Baar, Switzerland

THE POSITION

The F&B Development Coordinator is part of the Global Food and Beverage Development Team. The primary function of this role is to provide support both to the Global Head of F&B Development and to the Corporate Chef in their daily functions. The focus of this team is to oversee all F&B operations and development of the Aman strategic development of the F&B concepts across the group.
The team develops new concepts for restaurants and bars within Aman. Projects are for examples re-launches to invigorate existing restaurants and F&B operations, supporting the design and technical team in both hotel openings as well as renovations in existing hotels, and developing independent restaurant brands, co-partnerships, retail, and online services.


RESPONSABILITIES

The F&B Development Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the F&B Development and Operations, which includes, but is not limited to, the following:
  • Creative input into new and existing developments from a design thinking perspective
  • Assist in the creation of operating manuals for F&B outlets to create consistence across the brands
  • Assist with Marketing, Branding, PR, and Events notes before it goes to PR and marketing for refining and further developments
  • Support projects, tracking necessary action and updating reports as progress is made
  • Create presentation decks with the Head of F&B Development and ensure they remain up-to-date
  • Assist in the budget process
  • Review websites and ensure they are up to date and provide related departments with materials as necessary
  • Provide translations as required
  • Schedule and arrange appointments for the Global Head of F&B and Corporate Chef
  • Make travel arrangements as required
  • Schedule F&B Meetings, take and distribute minutes, and arrange/attend meetings as required
  • Help organize workshops
  • Handle office administration duties such as mail, phones, photocopying, office supplies
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous work experience in a corporate environment, ideally in the hospitality industry
  • A passion and interest for the food and beverage sector
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Team player with strong initiative and self-direction
  • Bilingual in English and one other European language, both written and verbal
  • Computer literacy a must, with a strong knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Professional telephone manner and demeanour
  • Design oriented thinking
  • Previous experience in handling confidential information
