Job Description

Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Rockwell Switzerland facilities (Including security) to all branches. Oversee the operations of the Fleet Management with the support of the local HRG. Cooperation with Facilities Team within the region and management all Facilities service providers.

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Facilities Operations
  • Directing and planning essential services such as building/premises maintenance, gardening, cleaning, catering, pest control, air conditioning, electrical and water.
  • Participates in the selection of service providers/contractors in line with local BBBEE Procurement requirements .
  • Negotiates rates and monitors the quality of services provided.
  • Stays available for call out in emergencies.
  • Implements office procedures that directly impact the day-to-day operations of facilities.
  • Liaise with landlords/agents about maintenance issues on properties leased by the company for expatriate staff .
Services
  • Oversee the day-to-day functioning of meetings and events with the support of external service providers

Security
  • Manage contracted security services
  • Work close with the EMEA Region Security Manager
  • Conduct basic investigations under the direction of regional security manager
  • Handles a variety of sensitive and confidential information.
  • Able to identify potential security risks and pro-actively take action on these.
Reception / Frontroom Management
  • Oversee all activities related to reception
  • Ensure all processes are in place to ensure the smooth operations of area
  • Management of reception team Fleet Management
  • WorkcloselywithHRG,serviceproviderandemployee’s(applications,queries, quality of service, queries, etc)
Management
  • Ensures that all activities are conducted within specified budgetary limits. (Cost effective)
  • Handles a variety of sensitive and confidential information. Ensures rapid and accurate dissemination of critical information.
  • Manage, supervise and/or co-ordinates the work of direct reports and contractors
  • Takes initiative in response to changing circumstances within the organization
Qualification

Requirements
  • Related diploma or education
  • 3-5 years related work experience in a similar role (Exposure to a Multi-national company advantageous)
  • Previous experience in managing contracted security services, cleaning services, etc.
  • Contract negotiations experience with suppliers
  • Computer literate (MS Office)
  • Collaborates effectively
  • Strong written and verbal Communication skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills; French or Italian are are additional plus
