What to expect:

The Customer Solutions Controlling department is part of Global Finance Diabetes Care and we are doing the Finance Business partnering for Global R&D, Strategy and Customer Solutions as well as Medical and Scientific Affairs Diabetes Care. We support our Business Partners E2E (end to end) in all financial matters with reference to the Product Portfolio, Medical, or Research and Development activities. Our team is characterized by diversity, educational and cultural background as well as ranging from years of professional experience. We are distributed across 5 sites in Europe and the US, but working closely together and acting as a team is important for us.

In the function of a Finance Business Partner for R&D and SCS the following is expected from you:

• Ensures and enhances the understanding of the financial results and value contribution. Enables value based business decisions by providing analysis, key metrics and suggestions
• Responsible for working with the respective RnD and SCS leadership teams and within the corporate strategy to identify processes or systems that need to be changed or improved
• Also develops regular and effective communication with network of financial business partners to support financial reporting process and ensure alignment around goals and objectives.
• In your role you will be a key partner in the business planning process and ensure that both short and long-term strategic priorities are met and are aligned to functional and group targets
• Educates about financial rules, regulations and best practices. Identifying true value drivers and contributing to organizational effectiveness across all functions. Includes proposal, development, and tracking of relevant KPIs
• Effectively manages the financial planning on project and cost center levels according to group, divisional, Business Areas and local requirements
• Lead and prepare complex financial and business related analysis and research in such areas as financial and expense performance or rate of return
• You will be a member of global acting teams and become a trusted financial advisor, providing transparency, clarity and helping to set financial direction
• Collaborate, Partner and execute with global focus

• Must be a self-starter, with strong interpersonal communication skills, able to constructively challenge status-quo and influence change towards larger benefits to the organization

• You have completed your studies in business administration, computer science or business informatics with above-average grades
• You are familiar with Microsoft Office and you have knowledge of IT systems for controlling, such as SAP FI/CO, SAP BW
• Ability to limited travel and
  you appreciate to support Partners in different time zones
• You are fluent in English and can use advanced presentation and communication skills in a targeted and effective manner
