The J&J Enterprise Supply Chain Source Finance Team, part of the Johnson & Johnson family of companies, is recruiting for a Finance Manager, Source Partnerships and External Supply (PES)- Pharmaceuticals, located in Zug Switzerland.

The Finance Manager, Source PES- Pharmaceuticals reports into the Global Director of Source Finance- Pharmaceuticals, providing financial leadership and support to the Partnerships and External Supply organization and Janssen Supply Chain partners. The J&J Enterprise Supply Chain Source Finance team is an organization with global impact, supporting the Pharm, MedTech, and Consumer Procurement and External Manufacturing teams to deliver high quality, reliable and cost competitive treatments. This role specifically supports the pharmaceutical supply chain organization and provides financial support and analysis for 160 external contract manufacturing sites managing more than 2,500 SKUs.

This manager supports our JSC PES organization globally, with business partners located in multiple regions of the world and manages four direct reports located in Zug, Switzerland and Titusville, NJ. While this role will primarily focus on supporting Pharmaceutical PES team, it also provides opportunity to play a significant role supporting Enterprise-wide Supply Chain initiatives while partnering with our internal manufacturing organization on different initiatives and projects. The manager role will require strong collaboration and teaming skills, playing a key role in driving efficiencies, process improvements, and standardization efforts, while also supporting digitalization efforts across the Supply Chain and J&J Finance.

Specifically, Key Responsibilities Include
  • Managing quarterly J&J financial close and accounting related activities related to our contract manufactures
  • Providing business partner support and financial analysis for all day-to-day PES responsibilities
  • Support the PES team with driving and shaping strategy, managing risk and opportunities, developing and supporting delivery of financial targets while leading the value creation agenda (cost, quality, reliability).
  • Finance leader to PES Platform teams, influencing strategies and monitoring of key dashboard metrics and measures.
  • Provide strategic recommendations on investment prioritization and balancing financial risks and opportunities across the multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Actively support the business through business plan, forecast updates updates and Long-Range Financial plan, building comprehensive budgets for the regions focused on maximizing value creation.
  • Influence and recommend external sourcing solutions to maximize value creation. Provide accurate transparent input on COGs and negotiation strategies to drive best position for J&J. Responsible for modelling financial analysis and leading/influencing key management discussions on strategic decisions impacting the Supply Chain Network.
  • Provide Financial Leadership in contractual negotiations. Partner with business and legal colleagues to negotiate new/renewed Supplier Agreements for the regions.
  • Deliver accurate and on-time submissions to JSC FP&A team & other SC Finance teams and provide clear explanations for all major variances versus forecast.
  • Provide on-going finance training for business partners on various financial topics. Manage a global team, with direct reports in Zug, Switzerland and Titusville, NJ; providing real-time coaching and development of team members, championing a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion, while leading performance management and career development.
  • Manage day-to-day activities and ensure resources are deployed effectively against all projects and be able to prioritize competing priorities effectively.
  • Partner with other Finance Leaders across organization to drive standardization efforts while supporting the Finance SigniFi journey and new technologies consistent with the new Finance Ways of Working.

This position is located in Zug, Switzerland, and may requires up to 10% domestic/international travel

Qualifikationen
  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in Finance, Accounting, or any related business is required
  • An advanced degree (MBA), CPA, CMA or other professional designation is preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years of finance or accounting experience is required
  • Ability to analyze financial data and bring clarity to complex business issues is required
  • Demonstrated strong performance providing financial leadership is required
  • Excellent analytical, accounting, communication and presentation skills are required
  • Prior Supply Chain or Pharmaceutical experience is preferred
  • Experience leading professionals with a strong track record of motivating a high performing team is preferred
  • The candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity and have experience implementing process improvements
  • The candidate should be able to work in a team environment and be passionate about meeting stretch objectives
