Your role

Are you looking for a new challenge in an interesting environment? Have you got solid knowledge and understanding of financial crime prevention and analytical skills?

We’re looking for a Financial Crime Prevention Specialist, to:

  • validate and approve AML Investigation cases incl. suspicious Activity Reports to MROS
  • manage significant AML investigations with a global impact
  • manage, provide input / respond to ad hoc inquiries by FINMA, internal and external auditors and Senior Management
  • support strategic projects / processes implementation related to AML investigations
  • analyze complex data related to AML Investigations to proactively identify financial crime risks and trends
  • provide Management Information related to AML investigations to Senior Management

Your team

You will work in the Financial Crime Switzerland team in Zurich. As part of the Financial Crime Prevention function, we are managing a broad range of topics related to Swiss and global AML investigations across all regions and divisions. We are providing professional support and advice to other investigative functions as well as to senior stakeholders within the firm and ensure the appropriate risk management on a global level. As a financial crime prevention specialist, you will play an important role in protecting the firm’s reputation worldwide.

Your expertise

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in law, economics or a related field
  • proven experience (ideally 3-5 years) in a compliance, risk function or investigative experience with a bank, consulting, audit or law firm
  • good knowledge and understanding of financial crime related risks and typologies
  • strong analytical skills with an ability to understand complex set-ups
  • attention to detail while not losing sight of the bigger picture, reliable, result-oriented, and assertive
  • able to work independently and take decisions and a proven team player who handles multiple deadlines
  • flexible in performing both daily tasks alongside ad hoc activities and projects
  • excellent oral and written communication skills, fluent in both spoken and written German and English; French as well as any other language skills will be considered as an additional asset.
