Your day to day


Join us as our new Accountant – Accounts Payable:

For InterContinental Genève and Crowne Plaza Geneva, your main duties will be to:

  • Receive and control invoices. Records all incoming invoices and expense claims.
  • Reconcile the invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Check the amounts invoiced against the purchase orders and accuracy of the tax amounts.
  • Enter invoices into the accounts.
  • Proceed to the payment of invoices.
  • Ensure that the payment objectives and the deduction of discount amounts are observed.
  • At the end of the month, prepare and post specific provision journals.
  • Ensure the accounting follow-up of suppliers’ contracts.
  • May train fellow team members.

What we need from you


With a higher degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration. Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar position in a hotel establishment of the same category and size.

You are fluent in English and French, at a C1 level minimum. Mastering German is a mandatory.

Excellent computer skills (especially Excel) and knowledge of Opera are required. A knowledge of ABACUS and Simphony is appreciable.

You are a driven, rigorous and result-oriented person. You are acknowledged for your flexibility and your ability to adapt and evolve in a fast-paced environment.
