Summary
The Distribution Associate is responsible for supporting set-up and performance of Seagen’s European Distribution Network
Responsibilities
Work with the Senior Manager European Distribution to:
- Establish new distribution set-ups triggered through geographic expansion or re-tendering strategies
- Triage and resolve EU distributor network related topics
- Monitor performance/service levels (3PL’s) to ensure contractual KPI’s/obligations are achieved
- Monitor Stock-in-Trade (wholesalers) to ensure optimal territory stocking (e.g. at period end, public holidays etc.)
- Monitor Supply Chain integrity topics
- Create/embed a robust EU distributor performance reporting suite / balanced scorecard
- Work with Accounts Payable to verify and approve distributor monthly service fees and invoices, or other ad-hoc expenses
- Work with IT and Business Intelligence to monitor daily data transfer from 3PL and expedite issue resolution
- Support financial month-end inventory reconciliation process
- Other
- Awareness of pharmaceutical distribution practices including Order-to-Cash, warehousing and transportation
- Strong client-support skills
- Capability to quickly establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- High business and analytical acumen
- Proficiency to work in independently within a decentralized international organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent to distill complex distribution issues to essential elements for stakeholders throughout the organization with different abilities and responsibilities
- Strong organizational skills in order to prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive activities simultaneously
- Willingness to travel internationally (10%, or as required)
- 2 years of supply Chain management experience, preferably from within the pharmaceutical sector
- Experience managing pharmaceutical supply through third parties to multiple customer delivery points
- An awareness of EU legislation on Good Distribution Practice, 2013/C 343/01
- An appreciation of Supply Chain integrity
- Exposure to relationship management and influencing skills
- Solid track record for analysis, accelerating supply and overcoming obstacles
- Exposure to change management projects
- Exposure to continuous improvement processes
- IT competencies and Microsoft Office expertise
