For our Field Technical ServiceTeam we are currently hiring a

Field Service Technician (f/m/d)

based in West Switzerland.

In this role you will:

• Support, repair, and maintain our entire medical devices portfolio in hospitals and medical care facilities

• Perform recurring STK & MTK according to medical device regulations

• Refurbish, retrofit, and test medical devices mainly used in dialysis and intensive care units

• Provide IT network support related to our machines

• Provide technical customer support virtually and on the phone

• Continuously expand and update your knowledge through training

• Provide on-call service / emergency service on weekends and after working hours when needed

• Install and collect rental equipment

• Take care of disinfections for our water systems solutions

• Train nursing staff and hospital technicians

• Take care of spare part management & inventory

• Ensure thorough and compliant documentation of your field activities in our CRM system and generate service reports on a regular basis

Your experience and qualifications include:

• Engineering or Electrical Technical training required

• Several years of experience in field technical service in the healthcare / hospital sector

• Strong technical understanding to identify hardware failures and wrong operating circumstances

• Commercial acumen and customer-centered mindset

• Ability to think on your feet and deal with ambiguous situations, looking to provide a workable solution to all parties and to make decisions in a high-pressure environment

• Pragmatic attitude to challenge the status quo and look at processes which are efficient

• High flexibility with working hours

• Proven ability to collaborate and work effectively with others in addressing complex issues

• Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload, meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision in the field as well as in an international team and matrixed environment

• IT literacy including MS Office applications and databases and/or CRM systems

• Fluency in French and English is mandatory, conversational/basic knowledge of German and Italian is a plus

• Willingness to travel within your territory including overnight stays & driver’s license
