Job Description

The Head of Employer Branding & Recruiting Marketing is the key lead in establishing Merkle DACH as a CXM lighthouse for the best talent in the DACH region. We exist to unleash true potential for lasting good and you will play a fundamental role in unlocking potential through and in talent. How? Creating a unique customer experience journey (1) externally for potential talent and candidates through their recruitment journey and then (2) internally for new joiners experiencing Merkle and getting fully onboarded into our culture and on the business.

This is what you will do with us

  • You develop, shape, and execute our employer branding strategy and EVP to increase our brand awareness across our 6 locations in Europe
  • Partnering closely with HR, Culture, Local Ambassadors and Market leaders you set the vision and action plan that establishes Merkle DACH as THE go-to CXM employer of choice, creating a harmonized story across our 6 markets whilst protecting local cultural nuances
  • Managing a team of local recruitment marketing and events associates, you develop and deliver a strong recruitment marketing plan with clear KPIs tied to hiring priorities that fuel our operational and strategic growth
  • You lead recruitment & new-joiner focused employer branding activities – social, campaigns and creative content – based on our EVP, our values and that attracts a DEI talent pool
  • You create strategic partnerships with leading digital, tech, agency etc. communities where talent are active as well as key universities where the talent of tomorrow are growing
  • Taking full advantage of our greatest asset; our people, you put our experts and diverse organization at the forefront of our brand, developing creative and strategic communications of the entire recruiting process in all analog and digital channels

Qualifications

  • You have 5+ years’ experience in HR marketing, communications or employer branding, preferably with a strong online/campaign background
  • You are an energetic driving force for new ideas and bringing them to life on the market
  • Extensive experience working in B2B, agency and/or people-based industries
  • Deep understanding of the DACH recruitment market, with examples of local market partnerships
  • Experience in IT/ Digital /Consulting environment
  • You desire to continuously improve the People experience; the way we hire, discover distinctive talent and to provide an exceptional candidate experience
  • Proven track record working with leadership, especially HR and market Managing Directors
  • Excellent communication skills and demonstrated hands-on experience in defining & implementing recruitment marketing campaigns
  • Experience in events management
  • Must-have: Fluency in German and English
  • Self-motivated, collaborative and results-driven
