Batmaid is the leading online cleaning service in Switzerland with more than 55,000 customers. We aspire to change the cleaning industry and provide the ultimate “well-being at home” experience. Therefore, we recently launched Batmaid Dry, a new laundry cleaning subscription service that picks up dirty laundry textiles directly from our customers’ homes and returns them freshly cleaned, ironed and folded at the tap of a button.

Our international team is composed of digital pioneers, experienced leaders, cleaning professionals, designers and engineers based mainly in Lausanne, Zurich and Warsaw. We are now looking for a Fulfillment Specialist who shares our entrepreneurial spirit, and supports us in ensuring a seamless flow of inbound and outbound packages from our customers to our laundry facilities and back. You will be part of the logistics team and be based at our facility in Zurich-Wallisellen.

Tasks

Your mission:
  • Receive packages from our customers at our logistics and laundry facility.
  • Ensure that all goods are unloaded, scanned and sorted properly for processing.
  • Label and sort outgoing shipments, ensuring that the right packages are loaded quickly to the right truck at the right time.
  • Dispatch outgoing shipments and coordinate with our drivers until each package has reached its final destination.
  • Act as the interface between our laundry operations and customer care teams.
  • Support in the optimization of our internal processes to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Requirements

Your Weapons:
  • Completed a commercial or logistical training. Previous experience in logistics or dealing with common logistics software is desirable.
  • Good computer literacy (MS Office, Google Suite, especially Excel/Google Sheets).
  • Fluent English and German or French are a must. If you have all three, even better!
  • Reliable, tidy and conscientious way of working.
  • Strong team spirit and openness to different areas of application: if necessary, you also lend a hand to other teams from other areas.
  • Willingness to work in a two-shift system.
  • Willingness to work on weekends is a plus.
  • Valid driving license, class B (motor vehicles up to 3.5t).
  • A strong sense of responsibility, a structured, clean and reliable way of working.
