We are recruiting aGlobal Medical Affairs Lead to strengthen our headquarters and biotech production site in Geneva. Reporting to the Head of Global Medical Affairs, your mission is to identify medical unmet needs and define the global medical affairs strategy for key products in alignment with the strategic brand plan.

Your Main Responsibilities Are As Follows
  • Lead and manage a team of 2 Global Medical Affairs Managers
  • Contribute to maximize the global therapeutic area products value proposition by providing the global medical plan, define and lead disease awareness actively, lead the global medical scientific communication strategy and plan
  • Contribute to the development of the Global Brands Strategy and supervise the execution of the medical part of cross functional projects (CFPs) providing guidance and/or supervision to other medical and marketing functions
  • Ensure medical excellence and benefit/risk assessment as subject matter expert in cross functional team
  • Ensure medical knowledge of OM Pharma marketed products is transmitted to and implemented by the regional managers and partners, by appropriate training
  • Establish, maintain and expand a good network with international thoughts leader to support CME programs
  • Supervise and ensure adequate international KOLs scouting, mapping and engagement in the respect of the compliance, rules and regulations.
  • Lead the data generation programs (mainly IIS studies) and in collaboration with other relevant HQ functions
  • Review and sign off educational and promotional materials

Business travels are required for this position, at around 10% or working time.

To carry out this mission, we are looking for a person with the following profile:
  • Scientific or Medical education (PhD, Pharm. D., M.D., or equivalent)
  • Solid experience in Medical Affairs on a regional or global level in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • 3 years’ experience in a leadership/supervision role
  • Deep knowledge in Infectious disease, respiratory diseases, and immunology field
  • Good understanding of Clinical Development, Regulatory Affairs and Drug Safety, as well as commercialization and business practices
  • Business fluency in English, both in written and oral conversation
