Growth / Business Development Manager Sports (80-100%) (w/m/d)

Within the Webrepublic, there’s a team fully dedicated to Sports and Entertainment which is looking for a full-time Growth Manager. Together with the leadership team, you play a key role in the strategic development and execution of the business development and internationalization.

Your role will include the following, yet is not limited as such:

• connect with our leadership team to develop innovative business development opportunities for organic and acquired growth that will support the long-term sustainability of our business
• develop an innovative and systematic approach to identifying, approaching and pitching to strategic partners in our industry, such as potential clients, PE funds and others. Furthermore, you accelerate our business development beyond organic growth efforts
• be in charge of our business development pipeline by managing and updating opportunities, create and present engaging content and participate in all C-Level meetings with potential partners
• play a leading role in the development of the Webrepbulic Sports and Entertainment brand, especially through social media and trade publications and websites
• engage in public speaking events and trade events and represent the company as a thought leader on the topics of sports marketing, digital rights delivery and the future of sports broadcasting

You…

• have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role (a background in management consulting or private equity)
• have a passion for sports, both playing and watching
• have an outgoing personality and enjoy connecting with people within and outside our organisation
• know how to use the different tools of Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides, etc.)
• speak English and German fluently, both in writing and speaking, additional languages, especially French, are a plus
