Your opportunity

During the traineeship, you will…

• Gain a deep understanding of cloud, cyber and data security and data operations
• Maintain and further develop the fundamentals and guidelines for using cloud solutions according to the regulatory framework and business requirements
• Participate in conceptual design process of incident response procedures, cloud technologies and data architecture
• Implement data use cases in the cloud in close collaboration with business users
• Manage cloud security projects in close coordination
• Develop innovative, secure and compliant cloud data solutions for today and tomorrow
• Implement Cloud Data Security standards in practice, especially for Microsoft 365, Azure and Snowflake
• Implement cutting-edge -as-Code solutions with Terraform and more
• Implement cyber attack monitoring use cases, response playbooks and attack simulations
• Start on October 1, 2023 and conclude the program September 30, 2025 (24 months)

Your team is located on our newest building, Splügenstrasse 5, Zurich, and is instrumental in securing our data and cloud environment. You will have frequent interactions with diverse teams within our Center of Excellence “Technology and Services”.

Together with his team colleagues, he is responsible for organizational and technical tasks needed to ensure that cloud applications but also data within and outside the cloud at Vontobel are secure and compliant.

Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Dedicated for graduate functions, preferably with some relevant practical experience
