Overview


As a newly created position within SKAN AG’s Life Cycle Service, the Head of digital services & technology development will be the driving force behind the technological and digital strategy/roadmap and will have extensive experience in this field of activity. Key responsibilities will include setting the technological and digital direction, providing reliable technical advice to the organisation, developing and nurturing technical talent across the organisation.


Responsibilities


  • Developing and implementing technology and digital strategies, setting targets and maximising added value for customers and our organisation
  • Identifying and developing new digital initiatives and services that add value to the portfolio
  • Develop and lead the implementation of technology and digital and data-based solutions and services
  • Collaborate with teams, partners and stakeholders in the development and implementation of applications, architectures and integrations
  • Building and maintaining a technology and tool landscape

Hardskills


  • University degree with a background in engineering, electronics, computer science, technology, with additional business knowledge
  • Several years of professional experience in the private sector, in the high-tech and/or medtech sector, knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector is an advantage
  • Affinity for technology, digital and innovation trends
  • Knowledge and experience in software development, automation, implementation of industrial services and successful implementation of new technologies and digitalisation in manufacturing, services and industry
  • Experience in leading and managing innovation, technology and digital projects and organisations
  • Strong data management and data analysis skills
  • Fluent in English and German

Softskills


  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to learn new tools and technologies
  • Creative with good business acumen and analytical skills
  • Visionary thinking with a proactive and energetic personality
  • Team player
  • Willingness to travel worldwide (at least 20%)
