As BiMOS R&D, we develop the new generations of high-power Silicone and Silicon-Carbide MOSFETs, IGBTs and diodes for a wide range of applications, reaching from the e-mobility to the power generation & distribution markets. As Head of our Product Evaluation and Qualification team, you are mainly responsible for the assessment and qualification of our products. As part of the R&D BiMOS department you strongly support the technology and product development from the very first idea to the ramped-up of the product. Based on your convincing personality, you organize the resources within your team, taking all aspects of the organizational needs into account and continuously improving the skills of your team. Your Responsibilities

• Manage a team of engineers and technicians being responsible for the electrical and reliability assessment of our BiMOS products
• Strongly support the development activities of new technologies and products, from the first technology assessment up to the customer support
• Define the priorities within your team in close collaboration with your peers, inside and outside of R&D
• Promote the teamwork with colleagues from all disciplines and work areas, focusing on lean and agile methodologies
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement, always striving for state-of-the-art solutions and high level of work efficiency
• Continuously improve the testing capabilities and the application understanding of your team
• Supervise our laboratories, following our safety standards at all times
  
  

Your background

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related field, with focus on semiconductors devices or power electronics
• Experience in people management as direct supervisor, project manager or other management activity
• Solid understanding of development work within R&D organization
• Experienced in using today’s software tools and capabilities
• Experienced with Agile development methodology
• Proven analytic skills, combined with broad technical interest and sound quality thinking
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
