About You

For our Biotech Production Site and Headquarter in Geneva, we are currently looking for a new Head of Quality Management. In this challenging function, you supervise a Quality Management Department of approximately 70 people, and are in charge of the definition and implementation of the local and global quality strategy. In this function, you apply cross-departmental leadership to promote quality mindset across the entire company and create a collaborative and quality inclusive environment. You will report directly to Chief Technical Officer and act as a member of Technical Operations Leadership Team.Your key responsibilities include:

  • Manage all QM divisions (Quality Operation – Quality System – Qualified Perdon – Quality Control – Clinical & Pharmacovigilance), working with cross-departmental leadership to deliver high quality products on schedule and respective processes to ensure OM Pharma compliance to applicable current regulations
  • Maintain product quality by enforcing quality assurance policies,procedures, government requirements and ensure the implementation and respect of policies and standards on all OM Pharma sites/subsidiaries
  • Promote a Quality culture across an entire company serving patients, employees and company interets
  • Successfully collaborate with all stakeholders (internal & globally) within and outside Quality Management
  • Ensure the business delivery of products by respecting Company Quality Standards
  • Establish and maintain the Quality Management system within the company and promotion of its continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with the regulatory requirements and marketing authorizations
  • Support different areas in compliance with legal requirements for quality, applicable to different processes, activities, products, and services of the company
  • Ensure inspection readiness and follow up of audits and inspections from certifying entities, customers or authorities
  • Ensure the compliance of technical contracts with customers, suppliers and manufacturers
  • Actively participate in the approval process and evaluation of suppliers and manufacturers
  • Prepare the operating and investment budget of the Quality Department
  • Ensure that the QM Department has the appropriate organization and clarity in roles and responsibilities.
  • Lead and motivate the QM team by ensuring the development of individual and collective skills, translated in objectives and goals for team members
  • As Tech Ops Leadership Team member, act as role model and contribute cross functionally to the development of the entire Tech Ops Function

For this role, we are looking for a reliable, assertive and business-driven person with the following profile:

  • University degree in Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Health Sciences or similar
  • 5 to 10 years’ experience in the Biotech / Pharma industry within Quality Department
  • Proven experience in a GxP environment in the management of quality systems and production, including inspection exposure to major Health Authorities (US, China, Europe, Brazil)
  • Previous experience in Senior position with people management with strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Fluent in French and English both in oral and written conversation
