Main goal:
UEFA’s ICT Digital team is responsible for developing and managing UEFA-owned user data platforms. The ICT Digital CRM Product Owner has extensive experience in customer management, segmentation and marketing automation in data-driven and proactive approaches.
Key responsibilities:
- Working directly with the ICT Digital Portfolio Expert to provide expertise and support in defining new business demands for high-level, detailed requirements;
- Working closely with key stakeholders to transform needs and requirements into user stories and keep the product backlog up to date;
- Proposing alternatives and influencing decisions and solutions;
- Incorporating feature requests into the product roadmap and sharing them with relevant stakeholders.
- Leading a team of developers and data engineers, taking account of location, culture, experience and plurality of contacts;
- Breaking down the product backlog into an agreed roadmap consisting of sprint backlogs and a release plan;
- Helping the delivery team clarify acceptance criteria;
- Leading agile scrum ceremonies;
- Acting as the owner of a product or set of solutions throughout their life cycle;
- Monitoring work progress and addressing production issues during sprints;
- Planning releases and upgrades;
- Monitoring data consistency across various technical solutions, part of the CRM ecosystem;
- Working with cross-functional teams to manage product design, external development, architecture, testing and release management;
- Collaborating with other Product Owners and the Manager, to ensure that product design takes account of impacts on other products, ensuring the ICT product vision is technically consistent;
- Engaging with key stakeholders and other product team members to define their requirements, by organising brainstorming sessions;
- Occasionally engaging with suppliers and vendors to discuss requirements or support issues;
- Maintaining and expanding documentation on the wiki (Confluence).
Profile:
Experience required:
- from 1 to 3 years experience as a product owner or certificate in product management, leading product teams in agile development for a leading organisation, preferably in the sports industry
- from 1 to 3 years experience working in data-driven environments, handling large amounts of information
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or an equivalent qualification
- Certificate in product or project management is an asset
Languages:
- English / Advanced
Additional requirements:
- Good knowledge of GDPR compliance
- Knowledge of APIs, DevOps, software development and latest mobile, web and cloud technologies
- Up to date on product design trends and the latest technologies used to build products for the internet and mobile devices
- Experience working in a multicultural environment
