Description

We are looking for an Integrator / System engineer with OpenText to come on board and support our operation in Zürich.

Linux and Solaris environment, mainly working with OpenText Archive server (less with Content Server). The system has high level of customization implemented with bash and Perl scripts around the archive server.

The position requires some extent of involvement in OpenText development. Such skill is not mandatory to have when joining the project, however, we expect willingness to acquire the necessary knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business requirements and design and implement solutions as defined by the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Test unit and integration of components for integration into larger subsystems
  • Analyze and resolve defects and deploy fixes to production systems
  • Liaise with Business Analysts to support the requirements engineering process as well as conduct; effort estimates for the respective project’s engineering, testing and integration tasks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work towards global IT solutions
  • Analyze errors in systems and define corrective measures

Requirements

  • Solaris and Linux environment system engineering incl. RPM packaging and configuration
  • Version control / continuous integration: GitLab, GitLab Pipelines, Ansible, Rexx
  • Perl and/or Python, Shell Scripting
  • Oracle SQL, PL/SQL
  • SAN/NAS, other storage sub-systems (e.g. TSM)
  • Data Migration (file / storage, database)
  • OpenText Archive Server (LEA, LES and OAS)
  • Document Pipelines
  • SAM-FS
  • ACSLS
  • Java/J2EE (especially EJB and Struts)
