About the team you are joining

In this role, you’ll be joining the Talent, Learning, Engagement, & Diversity team, reporting to the Director, Talent, Learning, Engagement, & Diversity. The team is responsible for setting the strategy and standards for Recruitment, Performance, Talent and Engagement as well as running comprehensive Learning & Development programs. It’s an exciting and dynamic remit as in addition to our ongoing activities, we always have exciting projects to develop and implement that have a direct impact on the employees’ experience and belonging. We are a small but dynamic and passionate team and we have a big customer base and a big agenda for 2023! We can promise that there will never be a dull day! We also love learning, so you will have an opportunity to share this passion with us and learn many new skills.

What your day would be like

Your day-to-day responsibilities would include managing the learning catalogue and supporting employees to access learning as well as communicating with our suppliers to ensure all learning sessions take place smoothly. You will also be crafting and updating internal and external communication content to promote our activities to our employees using the written word, video and photos on a variety of communications channels. This will include updating course outlines and other material following IATA’s branding guidelines, filming, and editing videos.

You have strong communication skills and solid experience in video editing and at ease with technology and social media. You will be responsible for marketing and promotion of our learning programs, so your creativity may be very useful here. You must enjoy working in a fast-paced, multicultural environment; have the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously. Administratively, we are looking for somebody who has excellent organizational and administrative skills that is proactive and prepares well ahead of deadlines – anticipating the needs of the team, and tenaciously following up to ‘dot the I’s and cross the t’s!’ You’ll need to use that attention to detail to help with the monitoring, reporting and analyzing. Academically, we want somebody who has excelled in their field, and may have some experience of HR, Marketing or Communications. Too succeed in this role you will need to be fluent in English, written and spoken and since we are an international organization, knowing any other languages is always a plus. You will also need to have passion for customer service as we really care about our employees’ experience.
